Valley of Horses
Paintings in this series were created between 2017 and 2018. Highly texturized pieces bursting with colour, each stroke flows into another. The paintings seem to be vibrating, alive, emitting energy. Like horses galloping, they present a ‘zoomed in’ view of motion trails molecules and particles leave behind as they create impressions of things we perceive. To peer beyond material illusion and the essence of matter, they depict poetic art in motion.
