Cosmic Dialogue
Paintings in this series were created between 1996 and 2016. They are koanic celebrations, satirical, playful and heartfelt homages to 1) the minimization of art as a financially speculative, decorative, manufactured product, 2) to the grandparents of modern art who carved new paths forward, and, 3) to poets, guardians, stewards of ancient wisdoms and wild systems we will never fully comprehend. Cosmic dialogue refers to speaking and listening across historical contexts and the human concept of time, reaching a place where words are no longer necessary.
